Also notice the special drinking cups wich do not require a drinking straw because of the way you need to fold them. ________________________ Voor het avondeten schuiven we aan bij Spisekammeret. Binnenin is het restaurant opgedeeld in een Mexicaanse-, Chinese-, Burger- en pasta-afhaalbalie. Wij kiezen voor een wokgerecht met rundsvlees en noodles. Liseberg is celebrating its 100th birthday this ye Liseberg is celebrating its 100th birthday this year. This historic park started as a temporary exhibition and theme park in 1923 and quickly became a very popular theme park in Sweden. Of course we wanted a traditional swedish meal and tried the “Liseberg Wardhus”. Definitely try the kötbullar. Delicious meatballs with creamy potato purée, pickles and cranberries. ____________________________ Liseberg viert dit jaar zijn honderdste verjaardag. Het park begon als een tijdelijke expositie met themapark maar bleek zo populair dat ze besloten het park open te houden. Je kan natuurlijk niet in Zweden komen zonder Zweedse gehaktballen te eten. Wij probeerden ze uit in “Liseberg Wardhus” waar ze geserveerd worden met bruine saus, romige aardappelpuree, augurken en veenbessen. Dinner @ Røde Port. This table service restauran Dinner @ Røde Port. This table service restaurant at the entrance of the park offers classic dishes as home made burgers, steaks, fish and ribs. Tough a bit pricey, the service is very friendly, the portion sizes are great and the food is really well prepared. The ribs came on a big platter with a serving of fries, a side salade, coleslaw and 4 types of barbecue sauce. ________________________ Dineren bij restaurant Røde Port. Dit tafelservice restaurant nabij de ingang van het park serveert klassieke gerechten als mossels, burgers, steaks, visgerechten en spare-ribs. Alhoewel de gerechten eerder aan de prijzige kant zijn is de service heel vriendelijk, de porties voldoende groot en het eten lekker bereid. Wij kozen onder andere voor de spare-ribs die op een grote schaal werden geserveerd(en a volonté) met een portie friet, salade, coleslaw en 4 soorten barbecuesaus. From one fun fair to another… Foire de Printemps From one fun fair to another… Foire de Printemps at Lille offers a great selection of rides, sweet snacks and savory fast food. If you like cheese than definitely try the “Maroilles Burger🍔”. Maroilles is a well known cheese in the north of France with a very distinct flavor. This burger also comes with red onion, an omelette and delicious fries. For dessert we tried a vanilla soft serve 🍦. Swipe for more pics! 📸 ________________________ Van de ene kermis naar de andere… in Rijsel, net over de franse grens is er de jaarlijkse « Foire de Printemps ». Een gezellige kermis met een aantal leuke attracties, vele zoetigheden en frietkramen. Als je van kaas houdt probeer dan zeker de « Maroilles Burger » 🍔. Maroilles is een typische kaas uit Noord-Frankrijk met sterke geur en smaak. Tussen je broodje vind je naast de hamburger nog de gesmolten Maroilles kaas, zen omelet, rode ui, sla en knapperige frietjes. Not a theme park this time but a fun fair! Kortri Not a theme park this time but a fun fair! Kortrijk is hosting its annual « Paasfoor » 🐰with lots of rides, games and snack stands all over the city. We ate a delicious Corn Dog with choices of many sauces and toppings. A bit expensive but a nice fun fair snack! ________________________ Deze keer bezoeken we geen pretpark maar een kermis! In Kortrijk kan je nog tot 23 april de Paasfoor 🐰bezoeken. Met vele spectaculaire attracties, kermispelletjes en snackbars verspreid doorheen de stad zeker een bezoek waard. Uiteraard konden we niet weerstaan aan de vele kermisgastronomie. We kozen onder andere voor een heerlijke Corndog🌽🌭. Alhoewel die redelijk prijzigwas toch een lekkere snack waarbij je kiezen tussen vele sauzen en toppings om deze hotdog op een stokje mee op te leuken! #paasfoor #paasfoorkortrijk #paasfoorkortrijk2023 #decadance #corndog #themeparkeats
